Western Campus Resources guarantees every book we sell. If the condition of a book you receive does not meet your expectations, please contact us and we will either replace the book or grant a full refund.
The 5% federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) is applied to books. The 7% Provincial Sales Tax (PST) is not added to books, meaning that books purchased for use in B.C. are taxed at 5%. PST is not applied to the cost of delivery, but GST is. Meaning? Books shipped from Western Campus to a BC address are charged 5% GST on the price of the books and 5% on the cost of shipping.
Customers with orders that qualify for FreeFreight save the 5% GST that would otherwise be applied to the cost of shipping.
Western Campus is obligated to collect the 5% GST from our customers in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec and Prince Edward Island, and the prevailing rate of HST in jurisdictions where HST is collected.
No tax is collected on orders shipped directly from Western Campus to a foreign address. We are required, however, to collect taxes on orders that are not shipped directly to a foreign address.
