What is an ISBN?

The International Standard Book Number (ISBN) is a 10- or 13-digit number that uniquely identifies the publication it is assigned to.

Because textbooks often have many editions with the same or similar titles, the ISBN is the best way to identify the book you need.

It is very important that you use the correct ISBN when ordering your school's books.

The ISBN is usually found near the book's bar code or in the fine print of the copyright page

Why do some of the ISBNs on this site end with a letter?

Some ISBNs on www.WesternCampus.ca end with a letter that denotes the quality of the book. We assign different qualities (and prices) as necessary.
