Education within Ontario is split between public and private. Schools are compromised of elementary and secondary schools. Public funded schools are managed by the Ministry of Education. Curriculum set by the government sets requirements for students across the province. As of 2020-2021, there were 3,962 elementary and 871 secondary schools operating within Ontario.
